• With Craniosacral Therapy (CST), we focus on the body’s ability to self heal. The therapist’s job is to provide needed resources to allow the healing to take place. We can think of it as similar to the following. If I get a cut on my arm, I clean it up and protect it with a bandaid. By doing this, the body is provided with the resources that it needs so that it can heal itself. This is similar to how CST works.
  • CST is suitable for all health conditions with the exception that any brain or skull injuries must first get doctor’s approval.
  • Clients are fully clothed, and lie on a message table if they are able. The therapist uses a light touch to “listen” to the body (similar to using touch to feel the pulse). This allows the therapist to find and work with restrictions in the body that are often at the root of symptoms. This often results in:
    • Relieving pain anywhere in the body, whether it be in the shoulder, neck, back, lower back, buttocks, legs, arms, hands, feet, headaches, abdomen, etc.
    • Soothing, calming and relieving stress, allowing for a refreshed and revitalized body and mind
    • Releasing tensions deep in the body
    • Improving overall health and vitality
    • Gaining more calmness and clarity
    • Deep relaxation and stress relief
  • Each session unfolds uniquely based on a deep listening to the person and to the body.
